ADS Simulation Introduction
- Lab 1: ADS workspace structure, libraries and cells, basic design capture, tuning, simulation, displaying simulation results.
- Lab 2: Add reference library to workspace, build filter, create test bench cell for simulation, multiple dataset manipulation.
- Lab 3: Amplifier design, input impedance analysis, stability and optimization.
- Lab 4: RF system and non-linear analysis.
ADS Layout Fundamentals
- Lab 1: Workspace, library creation and technology files
- Lab 2: Draw shapes and modify them using built-in functions, snap modes, shortcut keys
- Lab 3: Component Interconnect creation and editing
- Lab 4: Interconnect Layout of LNA schematic
- Lab 5: Design synchronization
ADS RFPro Fundamentals
- Lab 1: You will start with a LPF design, add the layout interconnects, prepare the layout for processing in RFPro, run Momentum simulation, investigate the S-parameter results in RFPro, generate a schematic for ADS to run a Circuit-EM co-simulation.
- Lab 2: You will work on the evaluation board, instead of simulating the entire layout, you select just the Nets of interest in a User Defined EM simulation. You will set different kinds of virtual pins in RFPro.
- Lab 3: We introduce the concept of Smart Mount, combine different designs having different technologies in one complete EM simulation and then run a Circuit-EM co-simulation.
