About this course

+ Learning Objectives

This course will give you an overview of the fundamentals of needed to work with RFPro to perform electromagnetic simulations

  • RFPro Introduction
    • Learn the basics to get started with RFPro
    • Lab 1: You will start with a LPF design, add the layout interconnects, prepare the layout for processing in RFPro, run Momentum simulation, investigate the S-parameter results in RFPro, generate a schematic for ADS to run a Circuit-EM co-simulation
  • Working with RFPro Simulator
    • Learn the different parts of the RFPro simulator needed to fully utilize the EM simulation.
    • Lab 2: You will work on the evaluation board, instead of simulating the entire layout, you select just the Nets of interest in a User Defined EM simulation. You will set different kinds of virtual pins in RFPro.
  • Going In-Depth with RFPro
    • Working with components and advanced technologies inside of RFPro
    • Lab 3: We introduce the concept of Smart Mount, combine different designs having different technologies in one complete EM simulation and then run a Circuit-EM co-simulation.
